Description:

M106 is a spiral galaxy about 22 million light-years away in Canes Venatici. It has an active supermassive black hole at its center, producing strong X-ray and radio emissions. M106 shows beautiful spiral arms with dust lanes and star-forming regions, and its unusual gas features make it a key target for studying galaxy activity and black hole interactions.
