Description:

Sharpless 2-98 (Sh2-98) is a faint emission nebula in Cygnus, shaped by the powerful Wolf–Rayet star WR 130. Its intense radiation and stellar winds have carved a bubble in the surrounding gas, while nearby molecular clouds show signs of ongoing star formation.
